India’s First Certified Dog Park Opens In Hyderabad

Finally, India’s first dog park wonderland has come to life in the city of Hyderabad. If you are a dog owner living in Hyderabad, you and your pooch is going to enjoy this big dog wonderland.

Nothing pleases a dog owner more than seeing their dog having a good time playing freely and having fun without worrying about them getting hurt or effected by poisonous plants.

India’s first certified dog park

Certified by the Kennel Club of India, the park was inaugurated on Thursday, 18 October, 2018 and it looks amazing. The park is well-fitted with incredible features that includes a lush green play area filled with dog-obstacles, an amphitheater, a pool and a dog walking track.

What’s cool is that the whole park is shaped like a dog bone. At the entrance of the park, you will be able to see a statue of a big mastiff dog. The park is built in a space of 1.3 acres land. It costed around INR 1.1 crore. Here are some pictures of the dog park.

Entry Fees

Dog owners and pet lovers have to pay INR 10 to enter the park.

“It is India’s first certified dog park built with international standards. It has been built in 1.2 acres in Kondapur area. We will charge ten rupees to each responsible pet owner who comes to this park with their dog,” Harichandana Dasari, Zonal Commissioner, West Zone, GHMC told ANI.

Comfortable & safe experience

To make sure that people and dogs of all breeds have a comfortable and safer experience, separate enclosures are marked in the park for bigger dogs and smaller ones.

Dog owners and lovers have given their approval to the park and its offerings. They expressed delight over the initiative taken for pet owners and for providing a safe experience for their dogs.
