2 Nursing Students Arrested In Kolkata Puppy Mass Murder Case

Recently, we shared the news about carcasses of 15 puppies found in Kolkata. On Tuesday, the Kolkata police arrested two students of a government-run medical college for allegedly beating 15 puppies to death. The incident has become viral over the social media and created an outrage among the people.

“Initially we zeroed in on five students who were identified on basis of inputs provided by students who shot the video. Two among them were arrested on Tuesday,” a senior Kolkata Police official said.

As police interrogated the staff, two nurses admitted to the crime. Police is trying to find out if there are other people in the hospital who helped the two in committing the crime.

The NRS Hospital authorities have already set up a probing committee to investigate the matter and is filling a strong report to help lawyers in the case and to ensure strict action be taken against the culprits.

The police have also found the stick that was used to beat the puppies by the two women. The evidence along with the accused were produced in front of Sealdah Court. The police investigation is still on and over 55 people have been questioned regarding the matter to built a strong case.
